Collagen Supplements: Benefits, Dosage and Safety

Summary

Collagen supplements (collagen peptides) modestly improved skin hydration and elasticity in a meta-analysis of trials, many of them industry-funded. Small studies suggest less joint discomfort in active people. Collagen is an incomplete protein, so it shouldn't replace other protein sources.
